Yes. Thank you. I follow a lot of Police academy tips on social media. I actually went to a running store a few months ago. I will work on my strides. Again, thank you for your time and responses. I prefer critical feedback rather than sugarcoating it. I think that will prepare me for the academy.

No worries. I meant my mile in a half is 14 min. So like a 9-10 min mile. I used to do track and field growing up, trying to get back to a better speed. I used to be a 6 min miler. Just got older and didn't keep up with running. I know that's not an excuse, that's why I'm trying hard.

Omg yes. That's why I waited to apply. My running was terrible. I've been running for a little over a year. I hired a personal trainer 2 years ago who helped me tremendously. I even had a 6 foot wall built in my backyard. I'm very determined to get this.
