I've been told that it's "risk based" but who knows what that actually means, especially considering I've talked to others who were flagged to take the polygraph despite a clean background, clearance, and current LEO status.

I just tell myself that being with the federal government gives you the opportunity to transfer between different agencies in different locations, and without any issues related to your retirement; provided of course that you remain in a 6(c) covered position. Well, it looks like we've got 10 days until the Phase III portion of hiring supposedly begins. Hopefully we'll hear something this week about our exam scores and if we get to continue on to the next phase.

I'm hoping for this announcement to go well.

The beginning of the Phase III assessment window is March 23rd, so it makes sense for us to get the results of Phase II prior to that date.

I was at an interview last week for a different and one of the other applicants was current BOP. He said something about it taking a year for them to send new hires to FLETC. Is that true?
