  • NYPD can not force you to take overtime in time, all ordered OT is what you choose it to be. Working 7 days a week for 5 moths straight? you're either exaggerating or as others have stated, might be other issues.

    It's hard for me to just say "Move & Go get another job" without knowing your current situation ( family, kids, school, elderly parents, debt, etc..) but if those things are not an issue, then go somewhere else. LE won't make you rich, but you sure as hell shouldn't be working in conditions...

    Never had a need for a pin to tell people who I am when I was a FTO. I always just wore the minimal required insignia..i.e. shield w backing & name tag & collar brass. Nothing else.

  • You might as well go back active, get an AGR spot, or try to finish off your 20 in the reserves.
    Anything involving some type of theft/deceit/misapplication of property will be given a hard look in LE...doesn't matter where you apply. The entire story of what really happened doesn't really matter....
