Suits. At San Diego seminar the DUSM came down to the lobby and like 50 of us were waiting, but some dudes were in all kinds of fucked up outfits. The DUSM straight up called these dudes out individually. "Where's your tie? What are you wearing? Seriously?"

Thanks Tx21. I did start in July 2018. I passed the assessment but was later rejected due to lack of education. I only have a 2 year degree, and zero LEO experience. All of my experience is military, aviation, and non-6c LE support roles. Operations, intel stuff like that. So I'm not surprised I only... -

Now to get a hold of my VA rating decision letter...
The e-mail said to expect 6-8 more months of waiting. My background investigation should carry over and save me a few months, though. -
Just got an e-mail asking for my Sf-50, which is weird because I’m 99% sure I attached it with my application. Maybe I forgot it, who knows.
I ASSUME this is in preparation for them to issue a TOL, so they know what pay grade to offer me. Come on GL-7 step 10, big money!!!

I'll be dropping from GS-12 step 7 making $110-115k to GS-7 step 10 making, well...I don't want to think about what I'll be making. -
Without getting detailed, I can tell you that I answered the questions based on how I could best DEFEND my decisions if I needed to. There were some questions on there that really have all shitty answers, so I picked the answers that I felt I could best defend based on policies and leadership's guidance.... -
My score was 89 for both 5 and 7. Not sure how or why it was so low...Unless it's purely my score on the written assessment. Don't remember if I was ever notified (originally took it in July). -
I too got the referral e-mail. Optimistic that the next notification will be a TOL, considering we've all already interviewed and done the assessment, and had our resumes and qualifications reviewed at least a few times.Leave a comment:
