Some really odd things occurring the last several days in this hiring process that I haven't seen before. I hope it's just USAjobs staffing not playing well with what is actually going on with ATF HR. Here's to hoping this isn't the case 1HungryFED

Anillo631 amen to that gonna be taking a 40k cut here and honestly I couldn't be happier. Hopefully we all make it to this May class. Still no equip here did the drug test several weeks ago. So hoping they accept my current BI.

Armyretire I did all of that on 2/16 after receiving my TO. Edit: I have yet to receive any type of eqip notice. However I do hold a TS with another DOJ agency.

Anillo631 yes it will be an email notification from escreen. They are slowly trickling out is my understanding. You also should get a confirmation email letting you know your security packet was received soon as well.

Drug screening test were performed yesterday by some of the second wave of applicants. Checked that box on to the next!

That is my understanding as well TxOfc92 from a previous applicant that got on. I hope to confirm that once I get my final offer down the road with HR. I have been reading up on it with OPM and talking with others. It's my understanding I'll go 7-10, 9-10, 11-10 before getting my 12 once again.

I am right there with you looking at a 40k pay cut to jump over (going from Washington to RUS as well). But it's definitely worth it as this job has a great work/life balance along with other nice perks. It's a no brainer for me personally at this point in my career and life.

I will be dropping from a 12 soon to be 13. They will step you out on the 7 scale as to were you would fall based on your salary 9 step currently once you get your final offer.
