Anyone work for Greenwich or Hartford PD?

Hi. Just wondering how the process went for anyone who applied to those two departments. I'm a certified Georgia LEO. Looking to be closer to my family in Brooklyn, NY. I already applied to both. Paid for the application fees. I only have a year coming up with my current department so I'm not too sure...

Pensions don't exist here in GA anyway from what i'm seeing. So i'm not surprised....

I can see this is a rather old thread. But may I also have some insight on CT departments? I'm a sworn officer in the state of Georgia. I'd like to move closer to my family in NY but be apart of a department with good pay and affordable living (at least somewhat affordable).
