    Venutis1 little T is when u ride with an officer senior to you for 90 days. You find out the station just shortly before graduation. Yes, in service is additional training.

    The hiring process is as follows, you come out for the testing, its done over 4 days, if your not DQ'ed in these first 4 days then the process continues. You go back home and wait until they call or email you for the last 2 steps,medical, finger prints and poly. Then your stuff goes to your BI. In about...

    New test dates for Dallas PD are, Dec. 14th - 16th 2017, Jan 18th - 20th, Feb. 22nd - 24th. 2018 For a list of quantification and dis-qualifiers.

    I am in the process of finishing the academy. I have two items left before I finish and graduate (Feb. 9th).     Just an FYI to all that maybe applying to Dallas PD. This is no joke out here. You must work hard and test well. 36 weeks is 36 weeks of test after test. Miss to many and your going home. Failing to keep up with the physical aspects and you might quit or flunk out. 9 months is a long time and the process...
