replied to Taurus g2 9mm for house security
Long guns present challenges that must be considered. They are harder to maneuver in close quarters and generally require two-hand manipulation, which presents disadvantages in situations like carrying children to safety. That said, they are easier to shoot well and offer superior ballistic performance....

Full size, duty-grade 9mm pistols are my first recommendation for someone looking for a personal defense handgun. The weight, full size grip, and full length barrel make these guns easier to shoot than more compact offerings. Most will have a capacity of 15-17 rounds, meaning firepower is significant....

    replied to Ankle carry
Helps make a case for carrying one on each ankle. Carry a traditional draw (weak side, grip to the rear) and a second with this strong leg, grip forward technique. A knife worn on the centerline of the the body would also be useful in the mount position shown in the video.

  • April 2017 Oklahoma County Sheriff's Special Election

If anyone here is an Oklahoma County voter, I wanted to post my opinion on the Sheriff's race, and some of the candidates

From my examination of the candidates, I am encouraging people to support Brett Macy (R) or Ed Grimes (I). They have impressive law enforcement careers, are well regarded...
