  • If they give you the wavier you have got it made and will get to work your 20 for full LE retirement and benefits. Most likely you will not be allowed to work past 20 but you will get your 20 and full retirement no question....

  • If you come on at age 40 you will work 20 years and then retire. You will get 1.7 % per year for all 20 years. And if they refer you, say one day before you hit age 40, and then hire you at a later date, you will work 20 years from the date you enter on duty, then retire. The whole 37 thing doesn't...

    The blackhawk nylon duty belts are garbage. My job will give me blackhawk nylon duty belts and other nylon gear for free, but I pay for Bianchi accumold gear out of my own pocket. And I'm cheap.

  • That is what I thought as well but the steward has been around for years and he is not the type of guy people want to mess with. And we all are required to attend training every three months so the guy has a stack of good evals probably 20 inches high for as long as he has been in. The union has come...
