good show, actors are gettin a few miles on them to stay in the 70's

but just like happy days...sumtimes get off track.....

every episode need's constant 1970's " stuff" to remind us how it was

or it's just another laugh track no brain comedy.

Being as it takes place in Wisconsin in the 70s, and that's where I live and the time period I grew up, I've always enjoyed the show. I can relate to a lot that happens in the show, even if I have to overlook some dialogue inaccuracies. My oldest daughter, a senior in college, loves the show also.

It's a great show. I heard that kid who plays Eric is going to be cast as Venom in the next Spiderman movie.

I watched it last night, and as long as Red stays Red, I'll like the show. I think he made a statement to the effect, "Someone's *** is looking for a boot, and I've got the foot!" You gotta love that!

I can't believe I'm commenting on this, but....

I graduated HS in 1974. The very second I laid eyes upon Laura Pepron, Eric's girlfriend, I was hooked on her. She looks like the girl I would have wanted in HS. Next thing I know, in the opener they're off to a Todd Rundgren concert. Many of you say, "who?" but if you had been around then, you'd know the song (Hello it's me) and the horizontal intentions behind it. As time went on, I lost interest in the show, whenever I see Laura though, she's got my undivided attention.

I'll tell y'all a sad (geek) story. Everytime I see someone on TV I recognize, I say to myself, "Where do I know them from?"

Then I hit up www.imdb.com and, it never fails, they were on an epsode of Star Trek or two. Red was on two episodes of Voyager and was also the President of the Ferderation. John Locke from Lost was on an episode of TNG. Goren's nemesis on Law and Order: CI was on TNG as a Q's daughter. And to top it off, Ashley Judd played Laura Lefler in "The Game" TNG. There are a few more I can't remember right now, but Star Trek has, always will be a great place for future famous actors.

Back to the "70s Show," I think it's still great, but the guy that replaced Eric sucks. As I grew up in that time period, I guess I see parts of myself in Eric and Hyde then, but now I'm more like Red. Scarry, isn't it?
