As long as the second one has a little bit more of a plot. Don't get me wrong, the movie was funny as hell (especially the first 5 minutes). But it would have been better with more of an actual "story" behind it. Just my opinion.

Ramathorne and Rabbit were also in Dukes of H***ard, they played the campus police, pulled over the Duke boys...

Ramathorne: Do you know how fast you were going?
              Duke: 10?
              Ramathorne: 8...
Duke: Isn't the speed limit 10?
              Ramathorne: Yeah... it is...
              *Duke speeds off*
              Ramathorne: Mother of God

I got such a kick when I saw that in Dukes of H***ard, I could NOT stop laughing...nobody else I was with seemed to think it was as funny as I did...

It wouldn't be called Super Troopers because they all became local cops at the end.

They all have parts in it.

Jay Chandrasekhar (Thorny) - Director and Campus Cop
Erik Stolhanske (Rabbit) - Campus Cop
                      Steve Lemme (Mac) - Jimmy
                      Kevin Heffernan (Farva) - Sheev
Paul Soter (Foster) - Rick Shakely

I also love Super Troopers. Can't see it enough

                        The top references:

                        1. yokel peasant, hick, hayseed

                        2. yokel A bucktoothed, hillbilly, river rat, (slack jawwed yokel)Some1 who was born in tha country and isnt street smart. talks with a goofy southern accent.eats squirell. usually named Cletis(tha slack jawwed yokel) Can be a diss for somebody living in the country.
I heard alabama's full of Yokels up in tha boonies.

                        3. Yokel A general term given to any inbred, red-necked hick.

Not to knock the yokels though, the good 'ol boys and country folks can be quite useful, especially during possum season.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I didn't really like the movie. It just wasn't that funny. I did enjoy some of the inter-agency rivalry stuff though.

They got some of that spot on.
