That new singer is awesome and you will not regret it!!

I saw them last night and was blown away by how great they were. They played all their hits from the 80's and that new lead singer is a perfect replacement for Steve Perry. The rest of the band hasn't missed a beat either, especially the drummer and Neil Schon the leader and lead guitarist.

Maybe if you'd have put this in a more appropriate location, you'd have gotten more responses. With that said, I really like the new incarnation of Journey with the new singer. I got their latest album with him singing the new stuff and re-doing Steve's classic stuff. At times, it's hard to tell the difference.

yes, i saw the neat story on youtube under the CBS Sunday morning show. Heart felt story. All I can tell you is I saw them the other night and it was like closing my eyes and hearing them back in the 80's. They were truely awesome. If you get a chance, go see them.

I’d like to go, however they are not coming to my area, or any where reasonably close. I know what you are saying about the singer, was in Wal mart of all places and they had a video of journey in concert was thinking well this is odd, I did not see the TV, so I had no idea it was the new guy, to me it was Steve Perry then I noticed the picture and was like who the hell is this guy. I will say though they have had more lead singers they damn near any band out there, what are they up now 6 or 7, but either way they are good, guess us old farts still know how to rock
