How can they say it is supposed to take place BEFORE the original one..when in the clip, Vin Diesel says to someone asking if he knows Paul Walker's character, "He used to date my sister".

This has to take place after, not before.

Either way, if it's true, I'll bite.

Doesn't say anywhere that it takes place BEFORE the original one. Looks to be legit. I'll spend my dime on it.

I'm in. Seen the original movie about 30 times.

In the text towards the bottom it says this:
The plot outline in various sources sum up a scenario where this movie actually takes place BEFORE the first installment of Fast and the Furious (they go back in time like Batman Begins did) where the movie follows Dominic Toretto’s (Vin Diesel) back story as revealed in the original Fast and the Furious movie. I admit that the sources seem somewhat sketchy but they have confirmed that “A new Fast and the Furious movie” will be produced but cannot make a definite conformation on any additional details.

So at least, IN PART, will be before even the original F&F.

here come more supertuned Suburu questions on the boards.
The sheep generally do not like the sheepdog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, cannot and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheepdog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed.

                I Am the Sheepdog.

I've seen a bunch of the cars for this movie look sweet. Universal has a warehouse in Sun Valley, north part of SFV with a bunch of sweet cars, STI's GTRs and about 40 SSs in the back, the building isn't marked but has a small sign in the back that says "FF4 SHOP" About 6 months ago drove by it and was confused on why so many cars would be back there, asked security at the back gate what it was and he said it was for the new movie. Asked him if I could get a look at one of the cars, he said "I'm not even allowed to go in the gate and I work here. I just sit here in this booth and make sure no one else goes in either!"

So far looks better than all the others.
