I actually work out of a large(r) county jail. We house between 350 and 400 max. Normally run about 300-315. I have friends that are in the TDCJ ranks. (I have some that NEED to be in TDCJ on the inside of the bars!)

According to some people in the Prison talk forum who actually correspond and even visit DR inmates in Texas the guards beat death row inmates there just for the hell of it.

I'm not saying I believe it but that's what they say and there's even a documented case where the "goon squad" was called in on an inmate.

Most over there are way too SOFT. Much too sympathetic to vicious killers. There are very few pro LE posters over there so some LEOs and others from here should voice their pro LE opinions. But don't be too harsh or they will delete your posts.
