For those that are gamers (shooter), did/does it help you shoot at the range,or accuracy?...When you play games like Socom Navy Seals, Medal of Honor, Call of Duty, Arcade shooters,ect these games are a little realistic...I understand the games doesn't provide the recoil/kick of the weapon, but as far as just shooting...

Absolutely not. There's a lot more to accurate shooting than handling recoil. The major reason is that the muscle memory needed isn't developed by playing games - playing C0D4 means that you can move a keyboard and mouse well, not that you can pick up a P90 and go to town. The games don't teach you a thing about properly handling a weapon.For every one hundred men you send us,
Ten should not even be here.
Eighty are nothing but targets.
Nine of them are real fighters;
We are lucky to have them, they the battle make.
Ah, but the one. One of them is a warrior.
And he will bring the others back.

No.
There is a "video game" used by the Army, but it's more used for fire squad tactics and weapons familiarzation.“The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed."
"You go for a man hard enough and fast enough, he don't have time to think about how many's with him; he thinks about himself, and how he might get clear of that wrath that's about to set down on him."

For the record... Did anyone else ever try to shoot the dog for laughing at you?
I think someone recently made a web-based game where you're shooting at laughing dogs instead of ducks, I'll have to find it.

I don't think that standard keyboard / mouse / joystick games could do as much for you as ones that use real guns that are modified to interact with a full size screen. I really like the FATS machine we used at the academy. Recoil or not- the shoot - don't shoot part of the experience has teaching value.
