Talk about getting a curve ball thrown at you. . . . . looks like life has different plans for me. I'm a step or two away from taking a position as a safety coordinator with a national aftermarket automotive parts supplier. Didn't see this one coming. Should find out in the next couple of weeks. If all goes well, I'll be signing off-duty for the last time at the end of November.

I don't know how many guys/gals I know ended up getting offered something out of left field when deciding to retire.
