  • Milestone events (pt.2)....

Well I was about to write how funny it was that Iowa's "milestone events" post was so close to my milestone event, but then I noticed that I was originally posted several months ago.

3 days ago I graduated from the Academy and will be starting In-House/FTO in the coming days. I wanted to extend my gratitude to everyone here who helped me along the way, especially to a certain few (you know who you are) that I reached out to individually when I needed the advice of someone who had BTDT.

I look forward to having the privilege of continuing to learn from your experience....and not posting in AAC erroneously.

    Thanks ya'll

Nola, I think your leather strap and threat of a butt woopin played an important part in pullet success.

We have watched pullet mature from a teenager making hand turned custom wood fountain pens in his parents basement to a college graduate and now a sworn police officer. Pullets accomplishment is an excellent example of determination and celibacy.

Pullet if you want to impress you FTO, I’ll be passing through you jurisdiction next week, feel free to make a felony vehicle stop on my SUV. Do it by the book----prone, cuff, search and throw me in the back of your vehicle. After I’ll explain that this is a training exercise.

Below is a photo of my SUV.

              Congrats Pullet

You do realize, I hope, that you have just finished the EASY part. Getting hired and doing the "book learning" part of training is a cake walk compared to really LEARNING how to be a cop.................

Since some people need to be told by notes in crayon .......Don't PM me with without prior permission. If you can't discuss the situation in the open forum ----it must not be that important

I will be sure to call a county-wide BOLO for any vehicle matching that description

Thank you sir. I couldn't agree more, and I hope that my book learning has adequately prepared me for the real learning.

Forget the donuts. Just bring your shinebox and be ready to fill it with blood, sweat and tears. Probably mostly tears....
