  • What is the Dumbest Personalized Plate You've Ever Seen....

    Hello all...

Today while I was out driving around - I saw a truck with personalized plates in front of me. In Cali...I would see them all the time, but out here in north Texas, it is very RARE to see one....in fact, this was my first. Of course, it peaked my curiosity.

When I came up behind the truck at a light, I finally got to read the Texas plate....it said. " TX TRK." So let me get this straight ~ you have Texas plates and they are on your truck - so you have a Texas Truck ?!? Thank God he spelled it out for me because the Texas license plate and shape of the vehicle he was driving would have never given away the fact that it was a Texas Truck !!! Personalized plates allow you to make a statement ~ his plates screamed, " I have no grasp of the obvious !!"

Anybody else had the pleasure of seeing some dumb personalized plates ?

I read this and laughed. I used to live in San Antonio and I thought back and thought I remembered something unique about license plates on trucks in Texas. And then I remembered I was right

For some reason, people want to be unique and get personalized plates, but can't be original to save their lives.

I'm tempted to get one that says SPEE D, but something tells me it might get me pulled over a lot. Or I could get one that says that and drive the speed limit, thus annoying the other drivers on the road.

Back in 98 in VA I saw a Hundai w/ MYNUCAR. Now that might be pretty nice the 1st year but in 3 years that is just going to be dumb.

We have one in the area that reads "SNAFU." I don't know how he got that past the censors.

I saw a car with a plate that said MAZDA3 on it. The thing is, it was put on a Ford! He must have sold his Mazda 3 and transferred the plates over to his new Ford.

The only problem with personalized licence plates is that when you do something illegal or anger a driver, it's too easy for them to remember your plate number.

There's an urban legend about one that made it past the censors:
                        3MTA3

hint: imagine reading that in a mirrror.

My buddy in high school was nicknamed Potato and his personal plate was TATO.

I leave for work the exact same time every day, so I see some of the same plates pretty regularly. There's a Benz I see sometimes with the plate "500SL WOW." Every ostentatious luxury car owner I ever met chose his car "because it's well made, not to show off" I guess this retard meant "WOW, do I feel safe." Yeah, right.
No longer ignoring anybody here, since that psycho known as "Josey Wales" finally got the boot after being outed as a LE imposter by B&G978. Nice job.

Too bad front licence plates are no longer a required law here in Saskatchewan.
