That guy's off his rocker. I was always taught to respect the dead. I find it ironic that this man in condemning this soldier even though it's a sin to condemn people.

        Wow, if Vet's don't get a can of whoop ***, I will.

What an idiot for even thinking about doing this. I can understand not agreeing why we are over in Iraq, but these fine Men and Women are dying for our freedom. I am so ****ed off right now that I can't even type.

Rest in Piece all the soldiers that died in this war and every other war we have been in.

I wonder if these extreme groups know how ridiculous they sound. I mean drawing a connection between a soldier making the ultimate sacrafice, to homosexuality. What an idiot.

Pocahontas, AR-- As we first told you last week, Region 8 native, specialist Rusty Bell, died in Iraq.

His family says they will remember him as confident, well liked, and an outdoorsman.

His visitation was Sunday evening in Pocahontas, and his funeral is scheduled for Monday.

Outside the doors of the funeral home there was a controversial church group there, not to pay respect, but to condemn soldiers for their service overseas.

The group of protesters are from Westboro Baptist Church based out of Topeka, Kansas.

"We're the true church of the Lord Jesus Christ," said member, Steve Drain.

They protest U.S. soldiers funerals around the country.

They do so to call attention to what they say is God's punishment for an America that embraces what they consider immoral behavior.

"Their sin is enabling a lifestyle that God almighty calls an abominable lifestyle, and they call it mearly an alternative lifestyle, mainly homosexuality," said Drain.

They stand together across from the funeral home with signs shocking to those who are looking on.

They are not honoring the life of this dead soldier, rather condemning him and other American soldiers for their service to this country.

"I thank God for all of his judgments. I thank God for 9/11. What he showed was the power of his wrath and didn't kill me in that wrath, that shows me a message and shows me a sign that we are right on target," said Drain.

He says he believes Americans are dying overseas because he says Americans not only tolerate what he calls sinful lifestyles, but embraces them.

"I wouldn't lift a finger to help this evil nation if it meant I had to act contrary to the word of God to do it. I am supposed to stand here to preach to you that is my job as a preacher," said Drain.

The protesters claim they are teaching the word of God and working for him by holding the signs, and picketing the funerals.

"The message is supposed to be offensive, I already told you that the word of God is sharper than any two edged sword. It's offensive. I think every person who hears this message is going to make a decision. They are either going to believe the message or they are going to reject the message therefore condemn themselves to hell," said another member, Rachel Hockenbarger.

He also did not kill me and I'm far from holy or religious. He also did not kill all the murders, rapists, child molesters, etc. Is this person saying that they too are on the right target because they did not get killed?

There, they were talking about how the ringleader and several of the other ******* ***** ******* ******* are lawyers. So, when these whiney little *** ****** get hurt, they're gonna sue like crazy, and unfortunately they'll win. Huh. Lawyers. I believe it.

WHAT THE [email protected]#K!!! Based on his own quote, If I kick the dog **** out of him then it's like the wrath of God punishing HIM. HMMM makes sense now, where do I get into line for this one.

Do not dare try to disgrace a fallen soldiers funeral in front of me. If you want to be against war, fine! If your going to this AMERICANS funeral, check your opinions at the door. Honor the man. Leave, then, when your out protesting someplace else, remember that HE died protecting your freedom to protest.

Maybe if these guys got jobs instead of standing around and complaining all day they could afford to buy a clue. People like these are not worth the time or effort to argue with (or brake for when they cross the street). Hopefully natrual selection will weed them out.

I truely hope so, I just feel bad for people like the mother or girlfriend/wife who had to attend the funeral of a loved one with a bunch of dip sh*t [email protected] off morons across the street saying crap like that.

Let me tell you. If I was that boys father, it would almost have been worth them doing that, just so I could catch them doing that at my sons funeral and see their faces when they got the beating they deserve.
