this may not be politically correct and is like beating a dead horse, but i saw yet another gas drive off today. actually i was filling up my tiny car and this yuppy terd driving a Yukon Denalli suburban (around $45K suv) got through pumping his gas, i heard his door slam, so i look over as he is peeling out, then runs a red liight and hauls ***. I am neither poor nor rich, but its bad when the rich who can afford these high dollar vehicles dont want to pay for their gas. but i did look at the pump he left and it read that he owed $97.00 for his gas.

and i only got the first three of the tag, dammit.

Gas drive offs are only going to get worse. In ohio, on the fuel pumps there is a deputy with a warning that says if you drive off you may lose your license.

Thank goodness I drive a lil 4 door ford

On the Yukon Denali XLs, the fuel tank is 31 gallons.

We have had about a 33% increase in drive off since gas passed $2.35 a gallon. And at $2.66 it's only going to get worse.
I was at a station and aguy was filling a V10 Excursion and his mouth was loud and filthy as he cussed the gas pump.

This won't end until the gov't ends it but if you check the invstment portfolio of almost every high powered elected official including Georg W guess where they are raking in the dough ???????????????????????????????????????????

I hate I hate I hate ..... I have to admit I agreed with Puget S on something ... Damn that hurts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ohio if caught and convicted you loose your license and we have decals on almost all gas pumps with a deputy's photo saying if you steal this we're going to take this and the deputy is holding up a license

                It hurts, doesn't it?

Bodie, you are right on though. I posted this before, but ExxonMobil reported profits recently of TEN BILLION DOLLARS!!!!!! THAT'S A LOT OF GREEN!! $$$$$$ Record profits for ExxonMobil.

The oil tycoons are making BILLIONS off of us and laughing all the way to the bank. In addition to being dangerously short on refining capacity, a big problem domestically is that the oil companies now know that we are willing to pay this much for gasoline! And OPEC knows we'll pay $60 a barrel for oil! They're gouging the hell out of us!

The ironic thing is that any city or town can instantly end drive-offs by passing an ordinance which specifies you have to pay before you pump.

Why don't a lot more places have this? Because the gas station owners are afraid the customers will see it as an inconvience and go to another town.

If it were up to me I'd enact the new ordinance anyway.

Of course they are, they know we are still buying Yukons and huge gas sucking autos. The majority of the American people whine about the prices but still fill up. By doing this you are syaing "give it to me".
I agree about the refinieries but we need to lose our dependance on gas period.
With all the above informtaion and the media, the majority of people know about the prices going up an dthey still don't care.

Here is Nevada, you have to PAY for your gas first, before you pump it. I wonder why all stations don't do this?
