  • 4th Annual Law Enforcement Benefit Ride

This Saturday (8/6) I joined a group of motorcyclists escorted by 4 down state Michigan police officers for a 200 mile benefit ride for Michigan's Law Enforcement officers.

The officers traveled hundreds of miles to just get to the Upper Peninsula to take part in this event.

The event is put on by the Thin Blue Line of Michigan (TBL). And then sponsored by a variety of businesses.

The officers were great. And humbly accepted appreciative word of thanks by saying that they were simply glad to do this.

This is just one way I can think of to show my support for those in Law Enforcement and for all they do for us.

    I'm not a police officer,
but that only means I deeply
    respect those who are.

Hope they all had a safe and fun ride and my sincere "Thank you" goes out to all the officers working the roads and who went on the ride also!
Does Wisconsin have a motorcycle ride and can civilians ride if they donate to the cause? They would have to get along with my 185cc 1979 Honda Spinster. My husband has a 1972-CL450 Honda and it's fixed up pretty nice and is the same color as mine sky blue! Classics!
I would love to join a ride or even Kile Pettie's ride if he was going to do one around here.I almost road on the veteran ride to the [ High Ground Memorial ]they have every year, but missed out because of other priorities.
