Whoa......a 4.3 year old thread brought back from the graveyard. And it is just my kind of thread. However, anyone who posts here without posting pics of their cars is a poser.
So.....
Any reason to show her off

I love them all. It is a hobby that I'd like to start hopefully in the near future to pick up 69 Camaro, Chevelle, Mustang, Belair any of them and bring them back to life. Go to the shows and hopefully race.
My thoughts exactlythan I noticed the dates, some of the cars were new when the thread was started, and for FJDave,a pic follows of a vehicle I was thinking of getting over the weekend, whatcha think??????
Sleeping Giant. They're not fat and happy anymore. They are hungry and increasingly angry. That is not a good recipe for a "Puppies and Rainbows America".
Currently a 1968 Mustang Fastback with the GT option package, 1 of 1079 built that year with an optional front benchseat. It has a 302 4V A/C P/S A/T should be white but is raven black now. Has a black interior with the folding rear seat and goes like a little b!tch! It is in need right now but due to a reckless previous administration it's more improtant that I spend my money on beer...
Dream cars, 66 SS Malibu, 69 RSSS Camero, 70 Shelby, 70 BOSS 351, or 428SCJ

Thanks for posting the website. I had a 1973 Dodge Dart Sport with a 340 back in my younger days. I restored it, my youngest sister drove it while I was out of town and totaled it. Someday...... I will have another Mopar Muscle car .
I had a burgandy '71 Dodge Dart. I sold mine to my sister after I got out of High School then she sold it. I've looked at buying one the past couple years and the $$ amazes me. I bought mine in '83 for $500.

1974 Nova Hatchback with a 68 Vet. 427/648 H.P. (on a dyno) turbo 400 trany 12 bolt 373 gears. Sold the car, twisted the body, kept the motor.
1969 Camero put the 427 in it and a worked turbo 350 along with a 12 bolt and 355 gears.
Gave the 1969 Camero to my son for his 17th. birthday with a 350/350 H.P. that I built for it.
Sold the 427 and got a 1964 Chevelle Malibu Super Sport convertable with a 327/375 H.P. L-79 motor and Muncie 4 speed with a 10 bolt Posi and 355 gears. This car was all original from the factory. Sold it 3 years ago.
1985 Chevy El Camino Super Sport, all original down to the paint with 115,000 miles on it, I drive it every day.
I was known by the motorheads in the neighborhood as the OLD MAN WITH THE FAST RIDE.
Thats all
I bought the kid an '85 El Camino last year for $800. It needs some body work. It has Michigan Cancer. The other kids at school laugh at him. It seems like a lot of the young kids today are more concerned with the sound system then the car itself.
