Looking from afar he looks like a monkey. Do the mexican government think black people look like monkeys? It amazes me how other minorities try to degrade black people. What if blacks wore shirts with the message "We rode on boats instead of swam to America" or "Oprah has more money than your entire country". Black people does not do this because many of us dont look at mexican people the same way they look at black americans.

I know plenty of Mexicans...most are more racist than white folks when it comes to blacks. The mexicans feel they are "better" then blacks. I have a good friend that is black and married a mexican girl and he can't believe how racist most of her family is.Trooperden, akman75, & azmichelle ignored

Originally posted by Max FischerThose stamps are in poor taste. I would agree that they are offensive, and they are doing in 2005 what was done in the segregation era.
I do not think this reflects on the Mexican community, only a couple of boneheads who made poor choices

I don't agree with it, but I'm not going to go crying about how they drew some stamp.
It's in bad taste but if people don't like that stamp, they don't have to use it.

It's kind of too bad that unless something hits us close to home, it is easy to dismiss as, 'Well, that is kind of lame, but I'm not in that group, so oh well."
So when they make a stamp that is totally offensive to European Americans (aka White people) then the media and general public will take note.

Queen,
I agree with you if the example is someone who doesn't like me because they don't like my shirt. That is someone's opinion and it can be dismissed.
What I find offensive is racism like the stamps portray. I don't think it is a matter of caring about what someone thinks. Racism is deep seeded and can cause problems for entire cultures.
Just my opinion.
