  • Online Dating Sites

I've been a member (off and on) of a few online dating sites since '02. Most expensive so far has been eharmony.com. Match.com hooked me up with the most psycho women, and Date.com got me with the most freaky women. Strangely enough, none of the sites produced any "wife" material. Any sites I missed? Any stories to share (both "good" and "horror")?

Is there a LE dating site? Or at least a first responder website. Would be nice to be able to meet ladies who understand what the job entails and understands some of the unique challenges experiences by LE.

Once it got to the point where the ladies found out what I did for a living, they wanted to know a whole bunch of stuff. Some bordering on OPSEC. Most were cool when I told them I wasn't able to discuss the specific topic, while others got mad and accused me of "keeping secrets". Is it really that bad that I won't tell the woman how many people are on a security detail that is escorting a VIP? This is the kind of stuff that your average woman won't understand. Some of them get rabid that I won't disclose names of my UC partners, etc.

There's gotta be a better way to meet women who will be "long term" potentials for me. Church and the other usual places don't really work for me. I travel a lot which complicates matters even more.

    What gives?
Getting shot hurts! Don't under estimate the power of live ammo. A .22LR can kill you! I personally feel that it's best to avoid being shot by any caliber. Your vest may stop the bullet, but you'll still get a nice bruise or other injury to remember the experience.

I understand where you are coming from. I haven't really used the dating sites too often because a lot of the men were just creepy and pervy. They all made suggestive or just inappropriate comments that make you feel like the dating world is more warped then you thought.
I have to agree with you. The places you can meet good quality people that are LE friendly without being "badge bunnies" or that you would find hiding in your bushes at 3am is a challenge. Maybe you might have to start your own LE Dating site so you can weed out all the serial stalkers and people that want to do disturbing things with your equipment.

My experiences have been the same. While I'm not in LE, I wonder what their reaction would be if we got to the point where I let them know where I stand about it.

I refuse to pay for dating sites, so the only one I've been on was PlentyOfFish .com

I have had a number of good experiences on Tinder. There is a premium version but I just used the basic one and met quite a few female friends. You can find both girla that are up for a good time and those that want something more.

I haven't done it in a while but met the nuttiest one on eHarmony. A zillion questions and that didn't come out so what was the point? Match.com gals were all phony, old photos (where's your daughter?) plus the site is dishonest. I quit after a month a few days prior the end using the accounts page and they still charged me another month. I contacted them and they said there was a process I needed to go through. WTF? There was no notice of that. I don't like crooks so I battled it out through the credit card company. I researched it and many people said the same, they are scammers. I believe some of the profiles and emails come from employees there too in order to keep you interested.

I would be shocked if a lot of the female profiles aren't fictional.

I met a nice guy on match once. "She" looked real online, voice and other features was a dead giveaway when we met up. :-(

I'm on a few. I've been on Eharmony off and on for years. I've hardly ever gotten any mail and NEVER even met anyone off it.

There needs to be a military/first responder dating site.
I yell "PIKACHU" before I tase someone.

Some of the guys are not much better, so don't think its just the women that are fakes. Most of the guys there are dogs or married dogs just looking for hook ups. They are only looking for women that they consider at least an "8" or above that they can audition with the 20 other girls they are trying to hook up with. Match.com is like the online version of Jersey shore for married or men in a hook up competition for themselves.

I thought of a name of a new site that could for Law Enforcement. How about PatrolforLove.com? Or EmergencyLove.com? Or does that sound a little to porno? Maybe I will create one with 629. He can check and make sure the women are really that!

No, they want your financial statement.
