I'm sure there's probably no connection to the two but, just incase you didn't know, Duke University is also home to a Lacrosse stadium named after John Koskinen. Do you know who he is? He's this guy:

Working midnight start I disliked being awakened by the sound of church bells late in the morning from the Jesuits about a thousand yards away. Local precinct cops are regularly assigned to protect the mosque during Muslim holy days and whenever there are problems in the mid east where the command staff fears retribution against muslims. There is speculation that the killer who shot NYPD Officers Ramos and Liu visited the mosque before committing his act. They did trace his steps to the Atlantic Center Mall two short blocks away from the mosque. As 84 precinct cops the two officers probably spent some time "protecting" this mosque since it falls in the confines of the 84 pct. Considered a **** assignment since every cop in the precinct knows the history.

And their prayers are continuously played over a loud speaker affixed to the outside of the building.

Interesting ... the wordpress column talks about him possibly being tied to the mosque and the tie in with Officers Liu and Ramos. As I was reading it I noticed the words, "Insallah" ... I can speak some Arabic, and in any Muslim country that means God willing. I dunno, but you guys do. There's sometimes something someone says or does during questioning that sets off alarm bells ...
