  • how can i convince him?

I'm buying a new car. My grandpa worked at GM for 30+ years and he understands that cars are not 100% American because of all the different imported parts. But he says it wouldn't look good to have a foreign name sitting in the driveway. I don't like cars with American names except the challenger but that's out of my budget. How can I convince him to allow a car with a foreign name in the drive way? Any advice? lol

This was the first election he didn't vote because he said neither party was capable of running this country lol. And I think you're on to something Trauma

Aren't most "foreign" cars assembled/made in the US anyway?
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we might as well dance.

Well Chevy and Dodge took money from the feds and didn't pay it back so they are out. Toyota and Subaru both have plants in the U.S. So its equal footing as far as I am concerned. I bought my first non big three car this weekend and I am happy.

I have a hyndai sonata and love it. 95% of the car is built in the US, same with Kia. My better half drives a ford escort and it sucks..

Unless grandpa wants to make the car payments, he has no input.

true, but i live here to save money and kind of have to go by what he says sometimes. I think I'm going to mention ''foreign'' car companies having plants in this country.
