Amazing. I love the job loyalty.

My father retired after 45 years at his employer.

    Yea Officer Sire,

    I heard about her....Dump'in else I say...

Gordon received the Outstanding Oldest American Worker award in 2010.
    One dang Sire,
Probably da' only reason daz' gave her dat' award thingy anyway, is that they figgur'd daz' sav'in a bunch on Social security outlays....

Trigger mentioned daz' put in the award title the werd... "Oldest" in it...He said daz' at least could have put a more dignified werd in thar',,,,,,,I suggested "fossilized"...

102-Year-Old Worker Retiring After 84 Years On Job

    http://www.kcci.com/news/27626419/detail.html

LINCOLN, Neb. -- One of America's longest working employees is retiring soon.

Sally Gordon, 102, the longtime assistant sergeant-at-arms of the Nebraska State Legislature, will retire next Tuesday.

Gordon has been working for 84 of those years. Even then, she said she can't promise she'll stay retired.

“If something comes up I want to do, I'll probably do it. Because, you know, as I say, I love working," Gordon said. "I love being around people, and it gives me a chance to get all gussied up instead of tramping around the house in a robe."

Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman said Gordon is an institution around the Capitol and is a model for all of us.

Gordon received the Outstanding Oldest American Worker award in 2010.
