I'd vote him back in office too. He is a stand-up guy.

Wow Jcioccke, what a loaded statement. I couldn't agree more. Those soldiers were dying everyday out there in record numbers and Americans at home STILL supported the war up until its end.

A little what civilians did back home:
Women, who had worked as homemakers or had held jobs outside military-related industries, took jobs in aircraft manufacturing plants, munitions plants, military uniform production factories, and so on. As the need for steel and other resources increased, American citizens participated in rationing programs, as well as recycling and scrap metal drives. Americans also supported the war effort with their hard-earned dollars by purchasing Liberty bonds. Sold by the U.S. government, the "war" bonds raised money for the war and helped the bond purchasers feel they were doing their part for the war effort.

jc the sheep would see that as a rant. I prefer to be a shepard.

That is why the left is so enraged with Fox News. Its not spun their way. i like Glen. Some nights I sit there and yell "Breath Glen breath." but most times I find myself agreeing with him. I will take my direction from people like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Martin Luther King, and Ronald Reagan. I beleive we are responsible for ourselves and the direction our lives take. Society, our parents, criminal Justice system, or whoever else they want to blame is not the reason some don't succeed. It is because they are unwilling to put forth the effort to obtain the things in life they desire.

        There that's my rant.

Thank you for saying it, I served in both Iraq and Afghanistan when he was the commander in chief and even met Laura, hes a stand up guy that didnt take crap. I always love this Bush bashing debates I get in, my response is always simple; tell me why you dont like Bush, but you cant mention Iraq.

173rd thanks for your service brother.

I met President Bush when he was still Gov. Bush. He was a great guy. I was a Motor Ofc. then and we did his escort. I sat down and talked to his Security Staff that he had (prior to getting Secret Service protection). He took the time to talk to all of us and shake our hands.

I got to see him again in 2004. He was still very classy but you could tell he was a changed man. Sept. 11th and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan had taken their toll on him and you could see that they affected him greatly. I'm sure his time in that stinkhole Washington DC didn't help.

He definately had to be a happy person the day he went back to Texas.

No one has earned a great retirement more than Dubya. He kept my family safe, my country safe and my investments thriving.

History will see him a great president. Hide and watch.

              Get some, Dubya!

Ronald Reagan... He was by far the best president I think our nation has ever had.

My family is very Democratic and disliked Bush heavily, and they'd agree with that statement and so would I. He made you feel proud to be an American and he was a very smart guy.

Reagan was definitely the best President ever.

I liked Bush as a man not so much as a President. I believe he is approachable and cared for Americans... especially our troops.

I'm sure Ft Hood appreciated seeing Bush more than our current Prez anyways.

Amen to that. He inherited a mess too but I don't remembering him blaming the other guy.
