I agree but we as a society have become so simplistic. Before I get flamed it kills me to write that opinion. I asked half the people I knew why they were voting for Obama- Maybe one gave me an honest assessment on his feelings that I respected. I didn't agree but I appreciated the well thought out answer.

The other half were just BS and not well thought out. Just following the crowd was what I interrupted.

What does half the country want to know about? Jon and Kate and their kids.

I could give 2 shi-s about them, Bachelor, Wife Swap this that etc.

Hell half the people I swear wait for the News to tell them who to like or dislike. I may just buy these people a magic 8 ball- they can shake it before making an answer. Why do you think Glenn Beck is so popular now? The thinking man/woman finally have an outlet. I don't agree with everything he says, but I appreciate the fact he isn't a drone following the crowd.

I look at the World War 2 Generation, I can only imagine what they think ( nobody asks them) or the millions of Soldier's that died during the War and now have to think about us as a society. Just makes me sick.

It still means something, and I believe there are more of us (patriotic, red blooded, gun clinging, religion lovin people) out there than we think. We are just the silent ones.

The media does not provide us with an outlet to voice our opinions. But take courage because we are out there, and we still hold firm to the beliefs of freedom and adherence to the greatest constitution that was ever written.

Its sad because I actually looked for an article about this and only could find a paragraph or two. I'm sure if Obama did the same sure it would be on TMZ and be shoved down the people's throats in every media outlet, ya know..because he's such a good guy and all....
