  • Call me paraniod.

...but last night as well as the past 5-6 Halloweens I had my firearm in my back pocket, is this too safe? is this too paranoid? Did any of you do the same and what are your views?

I've said it once, and I'll say it again.

    You can't shoot a ghost!
When passenger of foot heave in sight, tootle the horn. Trumpet him melodiously at first, but if he still obstacles your passage then tootle him with vigor.

We run dark but it doesn't matter...they still tend to ring the doorbell. Most aren't wearing costumes and just want to case your house.

Whatever happened to....if the lights are on...we are participating in Halloween and if it's dark...we aren't!!

When I answering the door last nite, I had my gun concealed on me....Halloween would be the PERFECT time for a home invasion.

And since there have been home invasions in my neighborhood this year, can't be too careful.

These are my conserns as well Kitty, we too get our fair share (if you can call it that) of HIR's. My first concern is not to get the drop on someone or to even try to play cowboy, it's to have it on me just in the case of.
I have to also think of my family in this too, my wife and kids are accustomed to my being armed and they're all for it, it makes them feel safer.
Even in the Summer when it's hot out at 11PM at night and you have to open up your house or you'll die, I have my firearm on me. There have been a few felony assult attempted murder type kick in's and the like and I just have an Idaho mentality when it comes to protecting my own, it's my responsibility

Just hold your piece in plain sight in the off-hand as your guests apprehensively reach into the candy bowl. Scares the sheeot out of'm evwerytime.

Hey ... it's Halloween! We're supposed to scare the little kiddies, aren't we?

I love the Halloween sign on the door at my local stop and rob. It reads, "Please remove your mask before entering."

I assume it helps the clerk better decide who he may potentially have to shoot.
