Just a Newsweek article about that "university" in Oakland California that is teaching "students" about pot and growing it. Why is the Federal government allowing this ?

Not picking on your sir but it often cracks me up when those who advocate for state's rights( you seem to fall into this category) get offended when you have your own agenda.

I could care less about pot. Unless someone is a mega dealer, I remand MJ cases to municipal court.

Just because a substance is illegal doesn't mean that it is morally wrong to do it. California is more relaxed, so is most of the western US and almost all of Canada in fact.

At first glance, looking at your title made me realize how ignorant most people are about pot. I could argue the millions of PROS for pot and the few and minor CONS of pot, but I don't need to. I have no problem with this "issue". How many people have died of Pot usage? How many people have died from Legal cigarettes and Legal alcohol usage?

yes yes, california is way ahead of the rest of us on thinking ahead and telling us what is good for us. Thats why their people riot in the streets and the state is almost bankrupt and selling national monuments. Their courts write our laws now and their governor is doing his best to try to be our next president, i mean its only the constitution they have to change to allow it, why not?
YES california, tell the rest of the country what is best for our people. Make us follow suit and allow yet another drug be legalized. I mean its only for medical reasons .....riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

If anything should be illegal it should be cigs. Its funny how there's a product with a LABEL on it that basically says: you will die from use of this product and people still want to smoke it. Cigs are Gross.

If you actually knew anything about marijuana, you would know the benefits of it for chronic pain, depression, and numerous other health problems. There are other ways to get it in your system in the form of pills, tea, eating it. using a vapourizer is another way to use weed...it cooks the marijuna doesn't burn it, and gets you almost pure THC. No documented cases of marijuana overdose or death EVER. Nothing wrong with medicinal marijuana buddy. You're probably some conservative far right who thinks smoking weed leads to Heroin, crack, meth use.

My point was that everyone is claiming, its for medical purposes, yet you and i both know....a lot more is leaving those places then just for medical purposes, its for some folks for no other reason then just to get high. Check the recent news 15 medical marijauna places just shut down for SELLING pot there. yet they were supposed to be a no cash, non profit place.
Also if you check some of my other posts i did talk about marinol and what a man with aids told me about it. So yes i do know somethings about marijuana. Way to jump to conclusions and label me even though you dont know anything about me. Did i hit a nerve? Afraid you might not get your pot today?

In reality i just get tired of california dictating for the rest of the country as to what we should be doing. Yet if we followed their example i think this country would be in far worse shape then we are now.

I wouldnt compare a store or two to a city wide riot. And yes i know california isnt the only place with riots but dern they sure know how to do it right when they do it.

As for the monuments, i was referring to Shwartzengovenor trying to sell san quentin.
