  • Do You oversleep?

Anyone have a problem with oversleeping? I am not a morning person what so ever. I often find myself having to set an alarm an hour before i actually want to wake up because I instictivly hit the snooze button numerous times when the alarm goes off.

I hate waking up, and sometimes find myself being late for things if they are not "important enough" for me to get there on time . My biggest fear is that I will get into an academy and have problems waking up in time, I don't think it will be a problem though because the importance of of a L.E. career is paramount to me. How about you guys?

I always set my alarm an hour earlier and hit snooze normally every 10 mins for that hour to wakeup gradually. I know it might sound weird but it helps me wake up. I have to be in service at 6am.

Never oversleep. I am 100 MPH most of the time. It's annoying to be this way, but very productive most of the time.

I don't agree with your opinion, but I respect its straightforwardness in terms of wrongness.

Once that sun shines its hard for me to continue sleeping unless I cover my eyes with a shirt or pillow but even then I disturb my sleep just by retrieving those.

im the same way. I have my alarm set up and 1030am right now. I know it will go off, ill walk up to it, and either a) hit snooze until I feel i should get out of bed or b) change the alarm for 1 more hour.

Sucks cause either way, im tired for work.

I set 2 alarm clocks to prevent oversleeping.

NEVER,I am a very light sleeper,my first wife would just walk to the bedroom door and I could "sense" her and would wake up.I do set an alarm as a failsafe, but dont know if the alarm works as I am normally up anywhere from 30-60 minutes before it.
