I guess some extremist hippie over at WWF thought this ad of planes all around the World Trade Center wasn't the least bit offensive...

That AD is in extremely poor taste. Plain and Simple.

Furthermore, how can they compare a terrorist attack to a natural event?! They are two completely different types of tragedies.

If they were looking for sympathy, all they needed to do was look at the millions and millions of dollars the US put forth to aid those victims. Funny how they forget so quickly. Oh and of course WWF says "they don't know how that ad was approved."

This tasteless ad originated in Brasil and was actually nominated for an award of "advertising". Oh the world we live in....

I dug up the full ad to this. Its actually a video, hurts to even watch this..

I doubt that the ad was seeking sympathy. It might have been a plea to prevent globabl warming, with an implicit link between the tsunami and global warming. If so, it was too subtle as well as insensitive.

It isn't just insensitive, it's incredibly arrogant and presumptuous. These eco-Nazis think they are a superior breed.

Wow, the comments for the video (the ones in english anyways) were just as horrible as the ad itself. Not surprising in the least, but appalling nonetheless.
