jagerbombs are good. a couple months ago while i was on home time, i downed 8 of them at one of my favorite watering holes in tempe. on top of those, i also had some straight shots of whiskey, rum, and vodka. yeah, needless to say, i ended up passing otu in an odd place that night. i woke up WITHOUT a hangover. i dunno how i lucked out on that.

I live on a small strip of bars. There is one that does $2 bombs (except car) every night. It is accross the street from the bar we typically go to. Usually the night starts with a couple cheap rounds of bombs, then we can save our money at the next bar and buy less beer.

I don't drink hard liquor anymore, bbbuuuuuttttt when I was on active duty it was a way to pass the time. Try yelling out for a "BJ" across an open bar (and no you are not allowed to use your hands to pick it up off the bar).

My fondest memory (okay I don't remember a whole lot about it ) was a place outside Camp Lejune called "El Mex". It was about as mexican as you could get in '91 in NC (think El Torito). One day while sitting at the bar with about 10 other Marines we noticed the place mats in the bar had the "101 Shots of El Mex". We took it as a challenge and in typical Marine Corps fashion completed that mission. I think we went there for dinner but I don't remember eating anything that night.

I wonder if that place is still there. Smurfette?
