Thought you might like to look at a pretty interesting (and sounding) police rock band, the Aussie group 'Federal as Anything' The group is made up of members of the Australian Federal Police, an organisation which has a similar Fedetal function to the US FBI but also a responsibility for the entire policing of the Australian Capital City, Canberra. Like the FBI it has officers all over the world and deals with anti-terrosim, as well as drug and firearm importation into Australia. The AFP is quite large with over 6,500 members. Here is a link to the band playing 'St.Michael Day', a day recognised here in Australia as Police Day.
Another very unusual and interesting fact about the band is that the bloke on the extreme right playing acoustic guitar is the AFP's newly sworn chief, Commissioner Tony Negus. Tony started as a beat cop, then a motorcyclist, highway patrol pursuit driver, detective and now the boss! Somehow he also manages to find time to play Rugby League football.
Hope you enjoy 'Federal as Anything' which is a bit of a play on words of an iconic Aussie 80s band 'Mental as Anything'.
