They are lifeguards that patrol the lakes at Disney World (at Disney World, you can rent boats such as 2 seater, four, or a pontoon which is like 10) in fastboats (not like cigarette fastboats) and make sure everyone (in almost a nazi police state) is abiding by the rules. They drive their boats around like you cops drive your cruisers, and they literally hawk you. The way they act they think they're the friggin' maritime LE out there.

Let's see, private lakes at Disney World and Private guards on the Disney Lakes at Disney World to enforce the rules so Disney is not held out to dry in a civil litigation. Perhaps, just perhaps, if one were to abide by the rules, the private guards working for Disney World would ignore them. Were you being foolish and they were stalking you? Tsk, tsk! Probably because there hasn't been a Drill Sergeant that could hold a candle to Drill Instructor GySgt. R. Lee Ermey. He's a favorite of many military folks. (FYI, he never made it to the rank of GySgt. while on active duty. He was given that "honorary" rank in 2002).

I rented one of the big pontoon boats at Disneyworld in October and even though I was out on the lake for 2 hours, I didn't have a problem with the Disney Nazi Lake Patrol. So what did you do to attract their attention?

Oh well there were a few times my dad let me hold the steering wheel in a huge open body of water with NOTHING around not even boats and we were being very cautious, looking around every ten seconds, and even if a boat were to have been in the area, it wouldn't of been a problem. The Lake Patrol came over and told my dad to keep both hands on the wheel...

haha the boats go 10 miles an hour, not really much speed.
