No the "WAV" is the PA Magesterial Court system's computer abbreviation for waived. This indicates that the charges were "waived to court". In other words the defenndant in the case, probably with the advice and consent of his attorney waived his right to a preliminary hearing before the magesterial district judge. The charges are sent then sent to the Court of Common Pleas for trial. Since the burden of proof for a prima facie case at the District Court is so low many attorneys will waive the case to court to save their clients a couple of hundred bucks in fees and themselves time.
