  • The Oceanside Chronicles, Season 1, Episode 1

Is now live on the site:

It's probably a 15 minute read. 10.5 pages in print. Just under 5,000 words. That's going to be about average per episode as things are planned.

So here's our first input request:

    1) Give it a read and let us know what you think in general.

    2) Let us know if you think it's too long. (If it's too short and we have to regularly produce more content, we're going to dump it on the editors and they may become overly addicted to caffeine, so "too short" is a feedback we HOPE not to get, but if it's how you feel, let us know)

As things are planned, episode 5, dated for release on May 25th, will have the first decision that gets handed off to you, our forum membership: It will be about a sergeant and whether or not he should get a promotion. If you read the episodes, by the time we get to #5, you'll be well familiar with the sergeant, his background, etc.

Thanks for your time. Hopefully you enjoy the new effort as entertainment!

    1) I liked it! I had some doubts about whether I'd enjoy it, but I was pleasantly surprised. As someone who is not a police officer, I learned a few things too.

    2) It did take 2 sessions of reading, but only because I was busy with other things (as I usually am when I'm logged on here). About 3/4 of this length would be perfect, but this is fine.

When will the next episode come out?

I found it enjoyable and relatable. I thought the length was just right.
