  • Headed to FLETC next Sunday!

Good evening from the San Francisco Bay area!

Just posting to see if anyone here will be attending the upcoming FLETC UPTP at Glynco 5/6 thru 7/30. If so, I'll look forward to seeing you there! Best if luck to all!

PS - my agency won't be providing me a rental car, so if I can ride with you, I'll be happy to pitch in for gas. Not looking forward to walking to class and everywhere else during a Georgia summer lol.

Hey how is FLETC going for you, I hope to be going in the October class. Are you finding it difficult?

No dog breath instructors in your face. Maids make your bed every morning. Chow hall has more options than a Disney cruise buffet. Run in the woods, shoot guns, drive fast, wrestle, and take tests. Party on weekends like college freshmen. Anyone who finds it difficult has truly lived a charmed life.
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

This is probably one of the best and most accurate descriptions of FLETC that I have seen.

The only thing that may be considered difficult is getting doubled up at the Taj. Those are small rooms for two grown a s s men to share. Having a roomie for six months is a drag. Especially one that snores all night or pollutes the room when he evacuates.

Jimmmaaaaay is right on the doubling up, but they stopped doing that after two classes.

No bicycling on campus during class days either, that's a real inconvenience.

Other than that, have a car, try to get away after class hours and on weekends and enjoy the beaches and the seafood on the coast. Also, get a mattress topper for your bed, as they get very uncomfortable after a few days. Good luck.
