    Recently failed skid pad. I really would like to pass this so I can continue with my career can someone please point me in the right direction

              The instructor normally says which direction to go I think. Either left or right. Go that way to get out of the box. Quick steering and accelerating as I remember it. Imagine going down the road and spotting a cute doggie in the road and drive the way you would to avoid it.

                        I got two tires off the pad once, but I was able to keep control

                              We got to practice obstacles during our week at the track. There is an extra brake pedal in most of cars on the passenger side where the instructor would sit. On the skid pad, the more pressure applied to the brake, the more severe the skid would be. When I was riding next to someone practicing getting through the box, I loved to stomp on the pedal sending the car in a skid that was almost a 180. Oh, the momories!
