Lino Lakes, MN officer killed

Lino Lakes Minnesota police officer assisting on a chase of a suspect wanted on warrants and driving a stolen vehicle attempted to deploy spikes and was run down by the suspect and instantly killed. Suspect also hit a van injuring that occupant and then tried to flee on foot. Suspect sits in jail as of this writing. Victim officer was 32, a seven year veteran, married and father of two. Victim officer had taken two years off to serve in the peace corps and had returned to work. Additional info at www.startribune.com

My deepest condolences for the department and the officers family . I would just say don't let me near the suspect, cause the idea of an asp to the head multiple times sounds awefully nice (not literally, but still...)
