  • Researching police as victims of assault

Greetings to my colleagues in public service. I'm currently the head of a college police department - yes I'm a real cop who deals with real crime -but I'm also a trainer and former college professor. I'm beginning some research on whether police officers are or are not perceived as crime victims when they are assaulted, threatened, or harassed. If you are a police officer I'd love to hear your comments about whether you, your peers, your boss, and your prosecutor think that getting assaulted is "just part of the job". It would also be helpful if you would would complete the survey located at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?s...RHf757uw_3d_3d

It will take you 10 or 15 minutes. I look forward to learning from you.
