Haven't seen too many guys or gals post from CT so I'll do the honors. I just got hired by a local department in CT. I figured I would put my $145,000 piece of paper stating that I sat in tedious lecture halls for 3 hours at a time to work. But seriously, I am pumped to pack my bags, head off to the academy and get started on my career at a young (but mature) age.
I used the board and the forum to help prepare myself for interviews, exams, and the other rigorous events and steps necessary to get into a PD. No stone is left unturned here which is awesome for recruits who do not have family or friends involved in the law enforcement community, and generally do not have the privelege of inside information or helpful hints.
