Moving from FL to LA

Hi, I'm new to this forum too, and am applying to the LASD. I am (soon) to be retired Air Force, living in FL but hoping to get hired by LASD and move back to my home state. Just got back from my 2nd trip to LA for the application process, and am looking forward to transitioning from one great organization to another this summer!

Hi and welcome. I just moved from Florida to LA (in February) and I'm loving it. I'm a little homesick but I'll adjust soon. I'm applying to LAPD, just finished my brackground interview and everything went well. No experience here!

My neighbor is in the process for the LASD. The Sheriff's academies offer pre-academy training if you want to keep yourself in shape and prep for what is to come
