  • Greetings from Glasgow, Scotland

A big Failte to all fellow officers and those browsing through the site. Delighted to have found this site and get the chance to see officers thoughts from all over . Its funny how regardless of language, distance or cultural background, we pretty much all think the same. I have no doubt the same can be said for the 'understanding and forgiving nature' we have for colleagues who make mistakes. Can I take it my American brother and sister officers would also never tease/ridicule and slag their colleagues off should they make an 'honest mistake'!

    To you all, take care.

MizzMaddie, may I commend you on your Gaelic!

Yes to err is human, but I have always enjoyed the good sense of humour in our profession where we ruthlessly take the Mick out of each other when we do not always reach our own high standards. ( Well perhaps not always enjoy, lets say I am as human as the next person!!).

          'S e ur beatha.

I reckoned you'd have a reason to mention it. I've seen the press hovering over your skeleton's hoping to snatch a glimpse of it to sell it to the public.

Well you know, doctor's do have a very well working covering up mechanism of their faults.

Anway I hope all of you have been kind enough to reply to this thread and view it stay safe.
