Hello from Ohio

I am an officer in Ohio and I would like to say hello to everyone involved on this website. Whether you are in any type of law enforcement or not just knowing that there are so many people that appreciate the job we do makes me feel happy. I have been an officer for 9 and 1/2 years. I love my od dearly and have fulfilled a childhood dream. I have spent time in the D.A.R.E. and G.R.E.A.T. ( Gang Resistance Education and Training). I also have spent time in the bicycle unit. I am currently in basic patrol. I am happy even though I had to return to a distict a year ago after the city laid-off 250 officers. I am looking forward to talking with new people. I can hopefully give some valuable information, and learn a heck of a lot as well.
