I have been employed as a Guard for 11 1/2 years at SOCF in Lucasville, Ohio. It is the same prison where the 1993 Riot took place. My Dad had 10 years under his belt when the 93' Riot "kicked-off" and retired after 16 years do to a medical condition.
Anyway, I decided to post and hope to get into some discussions and/or answer questions some may have about prison. I will tell you that after 11+ years I still like my job but dislike some of the things that happen behind the walls.
