I am a Deputy Sheriff in the Pacific Northwest, with 12 years on Patrol. Before that I spent 8 years in the Army MP Corps. Worked Patrol, SRT, DST, MPI, and Patrol Supervisor.

I remained in the Army Reserve after leaving active duty, and retired last summer after 21 years time in service. Yes, I went to Iraq.

I plan to spend a bit of time lurking before I make my first post, so you probably won't hear much from me for a while.

After that, all bets are off. I can be just as opinionated as every other cop you know.
