Hello! My name is Charles I just got accepted into the Academy in Daytona Beach, Fl and my orientation is actually this coming tuesday. My father was a police officer in NJ for 26 years, retired as a Sargent and then started his own private investigation company. I've always looked up to him as well as other officers and found it very interesting until certain life events made me want to go for it myself. I've been reading these forums for a few months in anticipation of actually starting the academy but since I've officially been accepted I thought I would go ahead and register.
