Thanks for the wealth of great info. I've been digging in for some time, just figured I should probably say hello...I have my PAT for the Riverside Sheriff's in a couple of weeks. So running, push ups and sit ups have been my grand focus to get in shape and not just meet the minimums, but smash through them. Thanks again for the great site!

Right on, I'll be there on the 15th for the PAT. Good luck to you too! Yeah, that 1.5 mile run is my nemesis for sure. I just conquered the 14 minute run today. I really want to get it down much lower though. I've heard it's more of a competition, so just squeaking by may not be enough. Nonetheless, good luck! Hope to see you in the academy!
